Jim Harrell
Jim grew up in Vermont and moved to the Boston area in 1999 to finish seminary and began attending a UCC denominational church where he was the Student Ministry Director and caught the vision of replanting churches in existing historic congregations. Jim applied his background in church planting, shepherding and training towards developing a plan for this replanting vision. The outcome of that process was the formation of Overseed, Inc. Dr. Jim Harrell is president and co‐founder of Overseed. He has his Doctor of Ministry in renewal ministries and Masters of Divinity from Gordon‐Conwell Theological Seminary. Jim’s background is in discipleship, mentoring, and church planting/replanting. He has been married to Sharon for forty years, they have three adult children and two grandchildren.
