BRAVE: Bold, Relentless, Authentic, Vigilant, Engaged

You man of God, in a world that promotes comfort and compromise, God calls us to radical courage and commitment. He calls us to be BRAVE.

Being BRAVE means shedding passivity and stepping into the spiritual leadership God has prepared for you. It’s an active, daily choice to live with purpose and purity.

You are called to be a BRAVE man of God:

B – Bold

A BRAVE man is bold in his faith, his life is rooted in Christ with Jesus as His Lord and Savior. He is not timid about his identity in Christ or the truth of the Gospel. His strength comes from the Holy Spirit, enabling him to speak truth in love, stand for the right things of God, and move forward without fear of man.

  • Verse: “For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-control.” – 2 Timothy 1:7 (NIV)

R – Relentless

Spiritual growth is a marathon, not a sprint. A BRAVE man is relentless in his pursuit of holiness, persistent in prayer, in the Word, and unwavering in his devotion to Christ and his family. He refuses to quit or surrender ground to sin, discouragement, or the enemy. He Relentlessly Submits himself to the will of God.

  • Verse: “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with relentless endurance the race marked out for us.” – Hebrews 12:1 (NIV)

A – Authentic

A BRAVE man is authentic—transparent before God and accountable to other men, operating with honesty in his vocation, his relationships, and his inner life. He has nothing to hide and lives according to the Word of God. He admits his failings and surrenders them to God in order that in his weakness he may be made strong.

  • Verse: “The righteous lead blameless lives; blessed are their children after them.” – Proverbs 20:7 (NIV)

V – Vigilant

A BRAVE man is always vigilant. He understands that he is in a spiritual war and keeps his guard up against temptation, the enemy’s lies, and complacency. He is watchful over his thoughts, his eyes, his family, and his walk with Christ. He discerns his life and leadership through the wisdom of the Word and the direction of the Holy Spirit. He consistently leads his family to follow Jesus.

  • Verse: 1 Peter 5:8 NKJV – “8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.”

E – Engaged

A BRAVE man lives his life present in every moment, physically, relationally, and spiritually. He is engaged, leading his home as a Christ-like servant leader. He is engaged in making disciples and participating fully in the mission of God. He uses his time, talent, and treasure to advance the Kingdom. He lives knowing that all he has is God’s and is a steward of them.

  • Verse: “Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love.” – 1 Corinthians 16:13-14 (ESV)

It’s time to be BRAVE—Bold, Relentless, Authentic, Vigilant, and fully Engaged.
