*MOVE UP DAY!
Sunday June 25th is our Move-Up Day! This is a day where our elementary aged kids move up to their next grade and the Community Kids team is very excited for your kids.
For you as the parent I know that this could be a time that not as exciting for you and can cause apprehension for you. Our team has been diligently working on everything that you are going to need to know for that day. For some of you it means that your drop off/pick up location maybe different than this past school year. For the rest of you nothing has changed and that your child is already in the right place. We are going to have additional people at our check-in area to help you find those drop off/pick up locations.
Those kids that will be moving into a different classroom are as follows 1st graders going into 2nd, 3 graders going into 4th, and 5th graders going into 6th.
For those of you parents that have a child(ren) going into 6th grade they will now be part of Radical Sunday. Radical Sunday is a space for middle school students (6-8th grade) to have discussions around the Bible and the things of God on Sunday mornings. Middle school students don’t always connect with what happens during a Sunday morning church service, and so our goal is for students to have an alternative environment where they can feel connected, have fun, and grow in their relationship with God. These community-group style meetings happen during each service at both the East and North campuses and are led by adult volunteers who want to see students connect with Jesus in a life-changing way!
