Year-End Giving Opportunity (+ Update)

Dear CCCers:

As we move into the Advent Season, our Pastors, Staff, and Elders would like to offer you a warm and grateful Season’s Greetings! Much of our gratitude is for your patience and faithfulness during this extended season of transition at CCC. There have been some difficult and awkward moments along the way. Change is hard. Yet, over this last year, we have seen many indications of God’s grace and faithfulness.

We Are Grateful…

For a unified, hardworking, and dedicated Staff including the additions of Student Ministries Pastor, Conrad (Nov. 2017), Office Manager, Gretchen, and Worship Pastor, “Bailey”.

For our Elders who shepherd us through vision, doctrinal parameters, and church discipline.

For the Community Group and Care Ministry Leaders who are the first line of pastoral care.

For the hundreds of volunteers who dedicate their time and energy make three-weekend services happen and who serve in amazing ministries that impact many.

For all the various teams that have been formed the last 18-months that have helped us refocus and rebuild. The Transformation Team (TT) planned and administering several all-church events and initiatives. The Financial Advisory Board (FAB) has provided extraordinary wisdom in stewarding our resources, and more recently, our Lead Pastor Search Team (LPST), which has come together in unity, focus, joy, and wisdom.

Yet, most of all, we are grateful for the people who have surrendered or rededicated their lives to Jesus Christ and those who have been baptized. Since January, 42 people have either accepted Jesus Christ or rededicated their lives to Christ, 25 have been baptized, and 30 new members have been presented!

Here’s what one new believer said, “This place has essentially saved my life. I have felt the true love and touch of Jesus here.” Another new Christian said, with tears in her eyes, “For the first time in my life, I have a family I belong to.” God graciously continues to use CCC as a place where people can learn to live like Jesus and help others to do the same.

With just a few weeks left in 2018, we would like to invite you to consider giving a special year-end gift, which would help us end our year strong and propel us into 2019. With our fiscal year drawing to a close, we are currently under budget by $42,036.64. Thank you for your prayerful consideration in this area.

There are 4 convenient ways to give:

Mail to 41 Stevens Street, PO Box 325, East Taunton, MA 02718

On-line on our website under Give or click here

Or, you can just bring it to a weekend service (write “year-end” in the memo)

We pray that this Christmas Season will be memorable for you and your family as we celebrate both the gift of our salvation and the Giver of all things good.

On behalf of the Staff and Elders,

Pastor Gregg
