“Your troops will be willing on your day of battle. Arrange in holy majesty from the womb of the dawn your will receive the dew of your youth.” Psalm 110:3
We are thankful for all our men and women who have served, and currently serving, in the Armed Forces. We want to honor them for serving God and Country. The Military Board located in the foyer hallway, has grown with many of our church families having family members actively serving and previously serving in WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Desert Storm, Iraq and Afghanistan. It’s a blessing to see all those who have served our country when they are honored during church on Veterans and Memorial Day.
In addition, CCC now offers information pamphlets for soldiers and their families in need of financial or legal matters and numerous other services through the Family Assistance Center. George Pontes represents this program, which is located at the Taunton National Guard Family Program Center, 111 Garden Owen Riverway.
We are grateful to those in the congregation and the Benevolent Fund for adopting 15 soldiers and their families this past Christmas. May this ministry continue to grow and reach out to our Veterans and their families.
